vzw Partners in Reproductive Health | ICRH

“Partners in Reproductive Health vzw” (PRH) is a non-profit organization linked to the International Centre for Reproductive Health, Ghent University. The aim of the association is to improve the access to and the quality of the health care, with the emphasis on sexual and reproductive health. Within reproductive health PRH concentrates on family planning, contraception, HIV/AIDS, cervical cancer, mother and child care, safe motherhood, gender-related violence and sexual risk behaviour. In practice this means that PRH strives for:

• integrated health care of high quality standards;
• training of health workers.

The realization of these aims is pursued through:

Support of the policy dialogue;

• Designing, planning, monitoring and evaluating programmes and projects on sexual and reproductive health;
• Supporting initiatives on reproductive health;
• Development of north-south networks;
• Training and supervision of health workers;
• Organization of courses, workshops, congresses and meetings;
• Identification, monitoring and evaluation missions;

Research

• Capacity building and technical assistance;
• Participation to workshops, seminars and congresses.
