Expert in the promotion of crosscutting issues (gender, HIV/AIDS, environment, social economy) and capacity building of stakeholders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo | ICRH

TEAM MEMBERS:

In January 2008 the Belgian Technical Cooperation created a new post "Expert in the Promotion of Cross-cutting Issues (gender, HIV/AIDS, environment, social economy) and Capacity Building of Stakeholders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo" within the framework of a more global "Programme for Support to Community Development Initiatives (PAIDECO)". Through this post the Belgian Technical Cooperation envisaged the valorisation of its expertise in the utilisation of the auto-evaluation of community competencies, with the aim to support the DRC Ministry of Home in its programme for the decentralisation of government, and more particularly in the mainstreaming of cross-cutting issues and local capacity building. ICRH was commissioned to do an evaluation in view of a possible extension of this post.
